Synsynth

Used the right way, most objects can make sound. But what if we turned the object *into* sound? Not the sounds they create, but a direct transformation from their physical form into sound. I have created a program that takes a picture and an abstracted description of on object and transforms it into a sound. Able to hold up to 5 of these at once, I have created a synthesiser that can turn a space into an instrument. The picture is broken down to control the waveforms, and the description helps control the volume of each aspect of the object. I hoped to create something that combines the physical presence of the object with its purpose in the space in relation to whoever wants to use the synth.
